Not every creature that a Wild-man encounters is intimidating.
Sometimes, you just find a frog on the lookout, peering out of his high tower. This upright metal pipe is part of a gate for a fence. Interestingly enough, a Gray Tree Frog liked to use this as a home last year too, so it may be the same guy.
It is very cool to hear his call coming out of the pipe because it amplifies the sound and changes the way that it sounds. At first, we heard him calling. Then, we saw him peeking around, so I took the opportunity to photograph him for a bit.
The @little-peppers got a chance to say hi to him too, and I got some nice full body photos too!
