Amazing Ireland #2: Dunlewey in County Donegal

I just fell in love with Donegal. I even considered finding a small house there just in the middle of nowhere and write a book. But duty called and I had to go back to work. Thank god I still have the pictures that can bring me back to lovely Donegal in memory.

Donegal is the most Northern part of the Republic of Ireland and it is quite isolated. There is only one major highway connecting it to the western part of the country. The other main roads connecting this part to the rest of Ireland go straight through the Northern Ireland (UK). That way, Brexit will be very interesting to the people of Donegal. A easy border passage will help the area massively.

It is an area that hasn't changed much over the years. It has many "mountains" and amazing views. I think it is the most rugged part of Ireland and amazing for people that love hiking. It has been referred to as the "Forgotten county" which will absolutely make sense when you travel there.
