The Dingle Peninsula is one of the well kept secrets of Ireland. While busloads of tourists drive around the neighbouring Ring of Kerry every day, the roads in Dingle are a lot less busy. The locals would even say that Dingle is more beautiful, but they are happy that this isn’t common knowledge. After exploring both, I will have to agree: Dingle is more special! The views are amazing, the fields are green, the coastline is rough, there are a few houses here and there and I might have imagined it, but the water seems more blue in Dingle.
