When I received this professional tunnel greenhouse earlier this year - it was a gift from a friend - I thought it would be too big, and that I would never be able to fill it.
As you can see, I underestimated my gardening addicted, and now there is barely room to move around.
It gives shelter to 15 tomato plants, a couple of sweet pepper plants, 2 lemon verbena plants, sweet potatoes, a watermelon plant and some more herbs, like basil and mint verbena.
As an experiment, I'm also growing a baby starfruit plant and a young cherimoya plant. Although neither are supposed to grow succesfully in our climate, I definitely wanted to give them a try.
To protect all my precious plants from harmful insects, I added some nasturtiums, marigolds and calendula flowers.
You can't imagine how thankful I am that I received this spacy greenhouse for free.
And of course, I'm already making plans for next year :0)
