A second post with some more of the current exhibit in Madison Square Park, for this post I will be sharing some shots of the remaining pieces, by Syrian Born but Brooklyn resident Diana Al-Hadid


This is the centerpiece of the Exhibit and located in the center oval of the park.

This piece is called Gravida, made of Gypsium, Fibreglass and powder coated aluminum.
it is the front wall is 36 feet long and the back one 22 Feet long, and was placed so that the hedge rows complete the walls of this feature.

This piece is called Citadel, which is like a fountain rising out of and reflected in the pond.

The design which may be hard to see from these shots shows the figure of a woman atop the piece.

I was glad I happened to walk by Madison Square park and see this exhibit I thought it was quite unique and very cool to see.

This is the 36th Exhibit organized the the Madison Square Conservatory and will be on display till the 3rd of September
