Mount Birdwood backdrop with the first few of a family of mountain goats in the foreground. These goats were on our approach up Snow Peak, in Kananaskis, and we saw a total of 16 mountain goats in different areas.

This is one of my favorite pics with the goats below the Burstall lakes and larch forests.
Another group of goats on our descent from the other direction, provided a stunning background for some photos with these mountain goats.
I couldn't ask for a nicer background, as I descended and the goats were on the mountain ridge with a sky backdrop.
