A Sunday with the Girls

Today we spent a day in the leisure and adventure park Märchenwald in the Isar valley in Wolfratshausen, next to Munich. Over 20 fairytales and 260 moving characters can be watched and discovered. The theatre style storytelling is available in German and English language sound and I was personally convinced from some action adventure offerings like:

Squirrel Rollercoaster: This one is for kids and adults - a real rollercoaster, action, visuals, fun all-in-one.

Slide Paradise with 3 awesome route options

The girls loved mainly horse riding, fairytale storyteller puppets and obviously the Vintage Car Ride as you can see in the photos. There are in general excellent rides and climbing stations. On a hot summer day the forrest is perfect for an enjoyable day. All in all - a leisure park I would always recommend if you have kids below 6 years old. And all were pretty happy and tired after the day as you can see in the last photo here taken in the car on our way back home.
