Hello steemit! I thought i'd share some of the pictures I took while working at this year's Bonnaroo, a music festival in Manchester, Tennessee.
Firstly, I do work at bonnaro ; )

some camping and festival grounds before opening
We got a ride on the ferris wheel the day before genpop was allowed in the grounds. Everything green you see in the first pic gets completely filled in with tents and campers, and that's just a small portion of the camping grounds. With around 50,000 people, this year was actually one of the least attended Roo's ever, but there's room for 100,000+ on the farm.

this thing drives around blasting music
Roti Rolls truck is best truck
In addition to the food trucks, there are over 100 food vendors spread throughout the festival grounds, as well as outside in the camping areas. You can get anything from fried alligator to General Tso's chicken. The lower picture above is taken from inside the Brooer's Tent, where breweries from around the country come and sell their beers. It's perfect if, like me, you're averse to $8 Miller Lights.

gotta love Hamageddon
ham farts
Hamageddon is a yearly staple. He's actually a giant smoker associated with Baconland, a Bacon based food vendor that offers specialty bacon BLTs, bacon grilled cheese, and even bacon flights of assorted bacons.

The Comedy Theatre is a nice air conditioned break from the blistering heat and noise of the festival grounds. This year I managed to catch Judd Apatow and Kevin Nealon doing standup. Pretty neat. I heard Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam even surprised one show with a song.

some yoga in the marketplace
There's actually a LOT of shopping at Bonnaroo. You can build your own hand drum, buy jewelry, stash boxes, clothing, art, and more. Even if nobody you're into is playing at the moment, there's no shortage of things to do in the festival grounds.

I hope you liked the photos, thanks for looking!
