Morrocoy Turtle - | - PhotoTalent - SmartPhonePhoto / Animals

Red-legged tortoises a species called Chelonoidis carbonaria native to the savannas and forests. In my country Venezuela we know it popularly as morrocoy, in addition to that many people have them as pets in their house, as it is the case of my grandmother, she has several in the patio of her house. This turtle feeds on a variety of things like; leaves, ripe fruits, flowers, grass, among others, in the case of my grandmother, she feeds them with mango, leaves of lettuce and some shells or vegetable waste.

As we all know, these turtles are very slow, but the funny thing is that they walk very slowly but do not stop until they reach their goal. This we could take as a flex, continue little by little but steadily until we reach our goals or reach the goal. We can take slow steps but be firm and leave traces.
