I was searching my inner self this morning about what it means to have dreams and this is what jumped out of my very curious mind. It's a poem about dreams. Hope it inspires someone to keep dreaming!

Dreams, a land awash with countless possible impossibilities
A place of great power, strength and unlimited positive eventualities
Where the wind takes a form and the mind transforms
Into a garden of infinite space, with the beauty of such inexplicable grace
Everything the eyes can see began with a dream
From someone's creative imagination bursting at the seams
Looking through into the the future without plain eyes
Seeing what's yet to come with such great pride
The mind of a dreamer is without limits, without walls,
Without a cage, without a siege, a bar or even chains or claws
You may cage his body, but his imagination moves without measure
With so much power, he unlocks life's chest of awesome treasure
A dreamer sees through the blindness of a generation
And paves the way for generations that'll define a nation
Dreamers change the world, dreamers rule the land
Dreamers bring the future from great afar straight in, to land

If you can dare to dream, the stars of men will bow
The elements will come together for the sake of making your dreams a vow
Rushing wind, blazing heat, swirling water flushing through mighty quakes
The sun, the moon, the stars alike, all align together with what's at stake
Dreams give you wings to fly
When life throws you in the dumps to fry
Dreams make you believe in every sunrise
'Cos there comes another chance for the vision to arise

If you can dream, you can reign
If you can dream, you can break the chains
You can break the ancestral chains of pain and ignorance
That keeps your mind conformed to a mold of eternal subservience

To dream costs nothing, not even a dime
But why give the selfish excuse of "just not enough time"?
To reach the top and not make your life the scenes of a wishy washy film
The greatest burden of your heart should be without a doubt but to dream!
