Pieces, broken
from a wounded yesterday.
Shards - still pierce the future
What interpretations can you draw for this haiku. I've placed a little bounty on the post as motivation. :P
A Haiku is a short Japanese Poem consisting of 3 lines.
Traditionally, Japanese haikus consist of 17 syllables, in three phrases of five, seven and five syllables respectively. Among contemporary poems Teikei (fixed form) haiku continue to use the 5-7-5 pattern while Jiyuritsu (free form) haiku do not.
This is a Jiyuritsu Haiku.
