I never thought I’d live to see the day
when racism, hunger and greed
would be worn on full display,
when soul would fight against soul
without a shred of heart left
or hope to ever find the light
nor that the evil would prevail!
We stooped low, now we decay.
No one to blame but ourselves
for trading the kids for the TV
for turning their infancies into
a meaningless show, a new series.
As for their bullying skills
no surprise, they can not feel,
always numb, not in the mood
-it all goes back to their childhood.
They grew up, turned into men
they blame you instead of themselves
for all damage, loss or fail.
The circle is complete. Amen
