Never Again (An Original Poetry)

Thou art right.

The distance between us triggers an unquenchable thirst,

A hunger that leaveth not, but bursts

Into an infinite longing I can no longer subverse

It won't stop unless I see thou first.

Nothing hath made me so restless,

But this desire to hold thy hand

And the ocean that tears us looketh cruel and heartless

To take my home away to wherever thou hast gone.

If time shall let mine eyes see thy face once more

Then I can finally say that I'm home

Thou wilt be mine own as I am forever thy rose

But never again, love.

Never again will I get to hold thee close.
