☣Changes With The Tide🌺

The days that pass the nights so long,
the waves keep rolling on and on.
Love comes and goes like the tide,
one lost heart thrown to the side.

Friends you hold so close so true,
one last love, who could have knew.
Hold me close as the tide comes near,
let the water take away my fear.

For each there's one, that's what they say,
hold on to her forever and a day.
She knows you like no other before,
show her your love, here on the shore.

You need her like the sand needs the sea,
she's everything you could want her to be.
The ones in your life who hold you down,
gone with the tide, just leave them to drown.

Hold on to today, as that's all you need,
don't look to the future to cast your seed.
Be true to me as I am to you,
and take me away in the sea so blue.
