Slithering Snake-an original poem

The snake slithers in
Through the crack
Moving silently
Behind your back

Unaware of the monster
It moves about
From room to room
Quickly in its route

You will not see it
Til its too late
Fangs pierce skin
Sealing your fate

Careful what you let in
It may bring death
Suffering in silence
Til your last breath
