A long way home
We walk through the earth with a broken compass
Which direction do we head?
North, south maybe east?
I roll a dice and somehow we choose west.
We stare at the stars by a campfire
The bulb of an old flashlight goes out
There is no magic wand to turn it back on.
Lighting crashes down from the heavens in the distance.
A shooting star up above
Reminds me us of identity
Far beyond what an ID would say
We are all one.
Stuck in a web
far too complex for us to understand.
Thank you reading. God bless.
