What's good steemians? Here's a piece I wrote for @poetsunit's contest, you guys should check it out, maybe participate and you might just end up loving it! The poem was inspired by @run-the-bits's Blasephemy.
I'm amazing!!
Now repeat with me,
"Ange is amazing!",
I'm that creme de la creme
Ramsay wouldn't dare challenge
I mean... my moves are so top notch
Even the cool cats treat me like Top Cat,
But I'm more like McScrooge
The way he allows no coin toss;
I'm a cryptic quack that will hodl
Every bit he comes across
Hello there Miss Crypta
do I make you tick?
Cool story,
how about I Just sweep you off your feet
Make you moon
then you can pass the broom!
They say my artistry too nonsensical
that I'm a comic wannabe, well I agree,
I'm here to level the playing field
To destabilize and kick out the heads
Of this industry...
Their smarts should be used
To piece back their societies
not spit profanities in the streets,
And for that you're welcome
All hail me!,
Thank you thank you
I welcome your applause,
And to show my gratitude
