You look in the mirror,
But you don't see what is to be seen,
You have a long way to go and you need to be keen,
You might be doing but your deeds are not all complete,
Seeking others' acceptance makes your reservoir deplete,
But a beam of light comes shining down,
It takes only a moment to change things around.
You are feeling down singing a lonely song,
You say you're different and claim to belong,
Then why have you been negligent for so long,
And only become aware when things go wrong,
You've known what needs to be done all along,
Eagles can't fly if their wings are not straight and strong.
