I took this photo back in 2009 when Sarah Blackwood was the singer/guitarist for the psychobilly band The Creepshow. She is very well known now for her current position in the YouTube famous band, Walk Off the Earth.
There's a bit of a back story: Just to keep it short and simple, my band at the time was supposed to open the show for The Creepshow, and we lost our drummer in a horribly tragic car accident a month before the show. She was aware of the situation, and she was an absolute sweetheart to us. I took my guitar to this show at Blackthorn Pizza and Pub in Joplin, MO in hopes that Sarah would play a few songs on it, and she happily and sweetly obliged! So here she is playing my Gretsch Electromatic!
