Silhouette portraits

Today I saw contest that @portraitcontest is making and it's called "Portrait Silhouettes" so I told to myself:"Let give it a try.". I never done these kind of portraits so this is first time for me. My sister came home for weekend only and we decided together to try and make some photos for this contest. So these are photos made few moments ago. :D

I took some strong LED light that I have, added some bed sheet to make it more diffused and it will give better silhouette photos. You can see that light source and bed sheet that have wrinkles because we just tied one end with our door and other with tripod just to make it stationary.

We wanted to put something that she can hold to make it more interesting, like this Eiffel Tower figure and some roses. I think that is pretty good for first time. :D

This is photo of me, holding cigar. I'm not a smoker so I added some smoke in post to make it more interesting. On this photo we took out sheet and just let light shine through LED light. That made really strong contrast to photo and gave some catch light on my face and my hair which came up really good.

At the end we tried to make some silhouette of wine glass and it looks pretty nice. Light gave such a great contrast to details on wine glass, you can see every line.
