You would think as someone growing up in a town with one of the best if not the best swimming lake I would be comfortable in a boat on the water. Better yet our home town of Port Alberni is located at the most inland point of the Somas Canal, we are a fishing community for that matter. So many other way to enjoy the water such as swimming, I am good at that.
I really enjoy it out here so peaceful on the edge of the water up high enough to avoid glare from the water and see clear to the other side of the lake.
Tried to get Jerry to swim, no go. He can swim just has a fear of water we are working on. Jerry did go in briefly with a little help from Mel, she got him onto the paddle board and had him jump in from just a few feet off shore. He looked so proud of hims of after having braved the water on the paddle board, one step at a time with this guy.
