Happy Easter & April Fool Sunday! Slept at 2.30AM that morning after supper hangout with the others and waked up at 5.45AM to get ready for KLCFM. Luckily it wasn't raining that morning, else KLCFM will need to be cancelled, pray hard last night 💪🏻.
Kuala Lumpur Car-Free Morning, Dataran DBKL
If you missed out what's KLCFM about and planned to join us next time, you can have a read about my previous post, here. I've reached KL City Gallery's parking area around 6.45AM to meet up @kokuryo and we walked over to Dataran DBKL, which is about a distance of 500 meters for warming up before the run.
Wefie at the Starting Point
Along the walk, we came across two other similar events which will also take place together with KLCFM. Reached Dataran DBKL to be greeted by quite a large amount of participants, the cyclists were been asked to prepare themselves in front of the starting line while jogger/runners are followed behind them to prevent accidents from happening.
Road is so empty
Before starting, DBKL band had a small performance beside the starting point and right after the performance, the emcee started to do the countdown from 10... 9... 8... ... 3... 2... 1... Go! Cyclists started pedalling out from the starting point and off they go while others followed behind.
DBKL Band performing
Go! Everyone run and ride forward
After that, it's time for us to start our run too and while running, we did stop a while and random places to take pictures and rest. It's quite tiring considering my last run for this kind of event is back in 7 years at the Sutera Habour's 7K Marathon.
Approaching KL Tower
Approaching Twin Tower
Water Station giving free mineral water to the participants
Got myself one to kill the thirst
Reach back the finish line, Dataran Merdeka
It took us about 1 hour to finish that 7KM course back to the finish line and my back is quite aching 😅 may be due to FBG yesterday. We walked back to our car park and called it a day off with body sweating entirely, but it does feel good. We might plan for Steemit Meetup for Exercise in the upcoming KLCFM, who's interested? 😏
Total estimated steps for my run that morning
Ready Player One Movie Hangout, GSC Mid Valley
Sunday's Movie Hang Out: Ready Player One. Source
During the afternoon, I head over GSC Mid Valley together with @joannewong to meet up with @zord189, @littlenewthings and George for our movie hangout planned last night.
While waiting for the rest to arrive at the entrance
Waiting for @littlenewthings, we get a wefie first
Ready Player One overall is an awesome movie with lots of game character around that you can easily identify them! The whole movie is about 2 hours long and I would definitely recommend you watch it at your local cinema 😉.
Dinner at Pu Tien (莆田)
We had our early dinner at the Gardens Mall right beside Mid Valley Mall after our movie hangout ends at around 5 PM. We went to Restaurant Pu Tien (莆田) at Level 2 of Gardens Mall, which you can read some info, here about the restaurant.
We ordered the family set dinner to be shared among us considering how many dishes is on the menu itself, starting off we had the snack given when we're seated.
Snacks
Seaweed Starter Plate
Tofu
Vegetable with Salted Egg
Chicken with Lychee
Lor Mee and Big Cabbage Soup
Prawn
My Homemade Sweet Corn Juice, which is nice 👍🏻
Lastly, Ginger Jelly for desserts
We were totally full after that meal, chit-chat while resting at the restaurant and call it a day at 8.30PM to went home. What a tiring and awesome weekend to have this week
