磁湖，位于湖北省黄石市市区，是一座美丽的城中湖，当地人又称张家湖、南湖;相传古时候湖中有大量的磁石，由此得名。磁湖的水域面积约10平方公里，汇水面积62.8平方公里，平均水深1.75米。1997年，磁湖风景区经省政府批准定为省级风景名胜区，磁湖风景区青山环抱，湖岸线曲折，总长为38.5公里，整个景区秀丽清新。
