I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your happy life. I am glad to see a lot of users participating in our steemit engagement challenge. But some users make a mistake while using images.
The reason behind making this post is that users are not properly sourcing the images and some users use copyright images that are not for commercial use. But few users who know how to use them correctly they were doing well. I have seen some users cite only google search link that's is not enough for you.
There were some old users as well as a newbie who don't who to cite images properly. So, for their assistance, I am here to share with you all how to find which images are for commercial use and are copyright free. I hope it would be helpful for most of the users that they learn the correct citation method for images.
Step Wise Guidelines
- Open your Google browser and then search what you required. Like I am searching for health as I have seen users don't know how to get free images for health related content.
- Click on the images option and then filter for selecting copyright free or copyrighted images.
- Click on the usage right option and it will show you further 2 options through which we have to choose Creative commons license. In this it will show you all the copyright free images, on other option it will show you that images for which you have to paid for commerical use.
- All copyright free images will shown below. You have to select anyone from them which you want to use. Click on the image.
- Then click on the Visit option and it will take you to the original site of image. There will be written on the top that these are free images.
- Move the page down and below the image it will show you that these images are free for commerical and personal use. There is no attribution required for these images.
- You can download it from original link and use it for commercial or personal use.
- There is share option below the image. Click on it and get link that you can paste on the place of source while posting content on steemit or any other site.
