Il nostro paese ha vissuto due emigrazioni, la prima oltre un secolo
fa che si e' allargata fino a dopo la seconda guerra mondiale, la seconda diciamo nell'ultimo decennio.
La prima la possiamo archiviare anche se alcuni punti in comune con quella cubana attuale ci sono, prendiamo in considerazione la seconda.
Ci sono articoli sui giornali, siti, pagine fb che raccontano di come migliaia di italiani nell'ultimo decennio hanno lasciato il paese.
Questi italiani, nella maggior parte dei casi, hanno precise caratteristiche.
Di cultura medio-alta, laureati, magari con un dottorato oppure quelli con qualche anno in piu' con un gruzzoletto messo via durante il lavoro in Italia quando non proveniente da famiglia facoltosa.
Questi ultimi scelgono un posto nel mondo per metter su qualcosa, un ristorante, un bar, una attivita', quindi li mettiamo da parte.
Rimangono gli altri, quelli che vengono chiamati “cervelli in fuga”.
Si tratta di 25/30 enni con un buon passato scolastico, ottime prerogative, buona predisposizione al lavoro che pero', in quel che resta del nostro paese, riescono a trovare lavori che raramente superano i 1000 euro al mese, cifra che non consente prospettive.
Vincendo la ritrosia tipica degli italiani di allontanarsi dal pianerottolo di casa di mamma', decidono di accettare offerte di
lavoro vantaggiose in giro per il mondo.
Leggevo che migliaia di medici ed infermieri italiani oggi lavorano nel Regno Unito (poi da noi mancano...) con stipendi che sono anche il triplo di quanto prenderebbero da noi.
E' gente che si muove a seguito di una chiamata, di una offerta interessante, gente che sceglie magari di finire nel gelo di qualche fiordo norvegese in cambio di un trattamento economico importante.
Sono italiani che non si chiudono la porta alle spalle, non vendono casa, dicono di non voler tornare ma predispongono quello che possono per, in futuro, poterlo fare.
Veniamo a Cuba.
Tralascio di parlare degli italiani che ci vivono ma la sputtanano sui social ogni giorno, e' gente la cui famiglia italiana accende ogni domenica candele in chiesa per esserseli tolti dai coglioni, se rientrano in Italia al massimo li aspetta una brandina nella camera
del nipotino.
L'emigrazione cubana e' fatta da gente che nessuno ha chiamato, a cui nessuno ha fatto offerte di lavoro, si tratta (e' brutto dirlo) di “carne da macello” lavorativamente parlando.
Gente che dovra' arrampicarsi sulla scala sociale del paese dove arrivera' partendo dagli ultimissimi posti, a volte dalla cantina.
Gli italiani che oggi vanno all'estero hanno un mestiere, una professione, delle competenze, i cubani non sanno, lavorativamente fare nulla, dovranno adattarsi a fare lavori infinitamente piu' umili rispetto a quelli che facevano, se li facevano, a Cuba.
Poi ci sono eccezioni ma sono poche.
Gli italiani partono sapendo dove andare, che lavoro faranno, con un bel contratto, un posto dove vivere senza dover contare sulla generosità dei parenti che li devono ospitare come capita per i cubani che emigrano negli Stati Uniti.
Spesso e volentieri i cubani partono lasciandosi il nulla alle spalle, si vendono la casa, il carro, fanno debiti a strozzo che dovranno pagare per i prossimi anni, in questo si...assomigliano agli italiani
della prima emigrazione con la differenza che quelli avevano una enorme predisposizione al lavoro, per duro che potesse essere, mentre questi...meno.
Capita ogni tanto di vedere qualche video di cubani all'estero che peleano per la vita che devono fare, magari hanno il frigo pieno ma devono fare 3 lavori, dividere la casa con altra gente, sono gli ultimi nella scala del benessere del paese ospitante.
Non dico che sbaglino, ognuno deve giocarsi la propria vita come puo' e crede, dico soltanto che quando leggo che “anche noi italiani siamo un popolo di emigranti” mi viene giusto da fare dei distinguo.
La storia bisogna saperla leggere, non tirarla per la giacchetta verso il lato che ci fa piu' comodo.

The others remain, those who are called "brain drain".
These are 25/30 year olds with a good educational background, excellent prerogatives, good aptitude for work who, however, in what remains of our country, manage to find jobs that rarely exceed 1000 euros per month, a figure that does not allow for prospects .
Overcoming the typical reluctance of Italians to move away from the landing of their mother's house, they decide to accept offers of
advantageous jobs around the world.
I read that thousands of Italian doctors and nurses now work in the United Kingdom (and then there are none in our country...) with salaries that are even triple what they would get from us.
They are people who move following a call, an interesting offer, people who perhaps choose to end up in the freezing cold of some Norwegian fjord in exchange for an important financial deal.
They are Italians who don't close the door behind them, they don't sell their house, they say they don't want to return but they prepare what they can to be able to do so in the future.
Let's come to Cuba.
I won't talk about the Italians who live there but they rubbish it on social media every day, they are people whose Italian family lights candles in church every Sunday to get them off their balls, if they return to Italy at most a cot awaits them in the room
of the grandson.
Cuban emigration is made up of people who no one has called, to whom no one has made job offers, they are (it's bad to say it) "cannon fodder" in terms of work.
People who will have to climb the social ladder of the country where they will arrive starting from the very last places, sometimes from the cellar.
The Italians who go abroad today have a trade, a profession, skills, the Cubans do not know how to do anything professionally, they will have to adapt to doing infinitely more humble jobs than those they did, if they did them, in Cuba.
Then there are exceptions but they are few.
Italians leave knowing where to go, what work they will do, with a good contract, a place to live without having to rely on the generosity of relatives who have to host them as happens with Cubans who emigrate to the United States.
Cubans often leave leaving nothing behind, they sell their house, their wagon, they take out huge debts that they will have to pay for the next few years, in this they...resemble Italians
of the first emigration with the difference that those had an enormous predisposition for work, however hard it might be, while these... less.
Every now and then you see some videos of Cubans abroad who are complaining about the life they have to live, maybe they have a full fridge but they have to work 3 jobs, share a house with other people, they are the last on the scale of well-being in the host country.
I'm not saying that they're wrong, everyone must risk their life as they can and believe, I'm just saying that when I read that "we Italians are also a people of emigrants" I feel like making a distinction.
We need to know how to read history, not pull it by the jacket towards the side that is most convenient for us.

Nuestro país ha vivido dos emigraciones, la primera hace más de un siglo
Hace tiempo que se expandió hasta después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, la segunda digamos de la última década.
Podemos dejar de lado el primero aunque tenga algunos puntos en común con el actual cubano, tomemos en consideración el segundo.
Hay artículos en periódicos, sitios web, páginas de Facebook que cuentan cómo miles de italianos han abandonado el país en la última década.
Estos italianos, en la mayoría de los casos, tienen características precisas.
De cultura media-alta, graduados, quizás con un doctorado o algunos años mayores con unos ahorros ahorrados trabajando en Italia cuando no provienen de una familia adinerada.
Estos últimos eligen un lugar en el mundo para montar algo, un restaurante, un bar, un negocio, luego los dejamos de lado.
Quedan los demás, los que se denominan "fuga de cerebros".
Se trata de jóvenes de entre 25 y 30 años con una buena formación, excelentes prerrogativas y buenas aptitudes para el trabajo que, sin embargo, en lo que queda de nuestro país consiguen encontrar empleos que rara vez superan los 1.000 euros al mes, cifra que no permite perspectivas.
Superando la reticencia típica de los italianos a alejarse del rellano de la casa materna, deciden aceptar ofertas de
empleos ventajosos en todo el mundo.
Leí que miles de médicos y enfermeras italianos trabajan ahora en el Reino Unido (y además no hay ninguno en nuestro país...) con salarios que triplican incluso los que recibirían de nosotros.
Son personas que se mudan siguiendo una llamada, una oferta interesante, personas que quizás optan por acabar en el frío gélido de algún fiordo noruego a cambio de un importante negocio económico.
Son italianos que no cierran la puerta, no venden su casa, dicen que no quieren volver pero se preparan lo que pueden para poder hacerlo en el futuro.
Vámonos a Cuba.
No hablaré de los italianos que viven allí, pero todos los días lo critican en las redes sociales, son personas cuya familia italiana enciende velas en la iglesia todos los domingos para sacarlos de sus pelotas, si regresan a Italia como máximo les espera un catre. ellos en la habitación
del nieto.
La emigración cubana está formada por gente a la que nadie ha llamado, a la que nadie le ha hecho ofertas de trabajo, son (está mal decirlo) “carne de cañón” en materia laboral.
Personas que tendrán que ascender en la escala social del país al que llegarán empezando desde los últimos lugares, a veces desde el sótano.
Los italianos que hoy salen al extranjero tienen un oficio, una profesión, habilidades, los cubanos no saben hacer nada profesionalmente, tendrán que adaptarse a hacer trabajos infinitamente más humildes que los que hacían, si los hacían, en Cuba.
Luego hay excepciones pero son pocas.
Los italianos se van sabiendo adónde ir, qué trabajo harán, con un buen contrato, un lugar donde vivir sin tener que depender de la generosidad de familiares que tienen que acogerlos como ocurre con los cubanos que emigran a Estados Unidos.
Los cubanos muchas veces se van sin dejar nada atrás, venden su casa, su carro, contraen enormes deudas que tendrán que pagar durante los próximos años, en eso se parecen a los italianos.
de la primera emigración con la diferencia de que aquellos tenían una enorme predisposición al trabajo, por duro que fuera, mientras que estos... menos.
De vez en cuando se ven algunos videos de cubanos en el exterior que se quejan de la vida que les toca vivir, tal vez tienen el refrigerador lleno pero tienen que tener 3 trabajos, compartir casa con otras personas, son los últimos en la balanza. de bienestar en el país anfitrión.
No digo que estén equivocados, cada uno debe arriesgar su vida como pueda y creer, sólo digo que cuando leo que "nosotros los italianos también somos un pueblo de emigrantes" me apetece hacer una distinción.
Necesitamos saber leer la historia, no tirarla de la chaqueta hacia el lado que nos conviene más.
