The land of Australia fascinates me because it is a very big country which is also a continent and getting lost in the "outbacks" would mean life or death if you are not fully prepared to solve the things that will get in your way should you be in trouble in your journey in its inhospitable parts.
Jack is teaching his viewers how to survive if you would venture around in the inner parts because some of it are desert, some are boggy, and some are sandy. So to get there you must have the essential knowledge to fix your vehicle if it would cease working in the middle of the road.
I had learned from one of his videos the he is also use of a hydraulic balloon which is powered by the car's exhaust gas so that it can lift the car in case of if it gets stuck in the mud and can't get out. It is only one option and the other one is to deflate the tires a bit so that it can get traction on the mud and after that you have to re-inflate your tires again with a small battery-operated air compressor that is permanently attached to the back of the car.
It is just one of the tips he taught that I learned and you can learn more if you see a few of his videos which you can use if you are a camper, hiker, or adventurist. It is just sad that I can never visit Australia, much less my neighbor's backyard so I can at least enjoy a "backyard" or much better the great outbacks of Australia.
