Dreaming of Fishing

A couple of weeks ago I went to my eldest brother's home just to visit them and see the place where they live. They live in a nice subdivision of houses which has an adjacent rice field. So I was just sizing myself up if I can at least with a small chance stay there for a while and maybe do a target practice or shoot birds to eat.

Well it was possible even in my dreams because walking around really is a pain and I haven't even able to visit the kitchen and their rooms above the house to see what their rooms look like. And of course that shooting hobby of mine won't get a reality which really needed some great miracle to happen again.

The adjacent rice field is a perfect place to hunt for wild pigeons which in my whole career of bird hunting I haven't gotten the chance to bring home one. My friends are the ones that are telling me that they tasted good and I believe them because those birds eats fruits of all sorts and maybe some insects and grains.

There was a fruiting tree near our house here, a Chico tree that was cut by my neighbor maybe four years ago so I was always hearing the sounds of the wild pigeons when they perch up those Chico trees to eat the sweet fruits therein. But the tress were no more, only some young branches remains as the owner did completely feel the trunk down and with that I think it will be ages to bear fruits once again.

Good for that Chico tree that it have still the chance to get glorified but as for myself the chance is slim even to return for my favorite hobby of hunting with my pellet gun for food which I also use for spear fishing with friends.
