Hi guyz,
It's been a while, we missed you.
But don't worry @siavach and @elmetro are come back for a new adventure, yeaaaaaaaahhh.
We leaved you at Vic-Fesanzac in a crazy salsa festival, and we find you today in a more cultural and exotic city, Saint-Petersburg where we have some surprises for you...
The first thing that jumps to the eyes in this city is that everything is big here, the buildings, the streets, the metro stations, the bridges. Definitely Saint-Petersburg is in Russia, this country-continent of 9,000 km from Kaliningrad in Europe to Vladivostok in Asia. Can you image a country with eleven time zones?
But as someone told: Great men do great things.
If everything is big here, it is because this country made great men like the Romanovs, Nicolas II, Lenine, Staline, Kasparov, Pouchkine, Raspoutine, Tolstoi, Mendeleïev, Gagarine and of course Peter the Great.
Before, there were real men like the tsar Peter the Great. In 1703 he decided to open the Russia to the Europe and in a place where there were just swamps, he built his new capital from nothing, Saint-Petersburg was born…
Who can do this today? Maybe Satoshi Nakamoto who build the first stone of the new world with the Bitcoin.
Today, Saint-Petersburg is the second city of the country with more than 5 millions inhabitants and own the biggest museum of the world, the Hermitage Museum, the theater Mariinsky and many others. With beautiful museums and churches in each street corner, we can say that Saint-Petersburg is really an open air museum.
If you are in love and romantic, Saint-Petersburg is definitely a destination for you. You will have miles of docks and bridges to quote poems to your loved one
l
Russians really really love music, you will find amateur groups on every street corner and you can believe us, we were the only ones who did not know the lyrics.
Here is my favorite monument: The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood
@elmetro went crazy seeing the church
And as beautiful inside as outside
What disturbs here is the alphabet. Letters are reversed or even invented. For example here is how they write McDonald's here ...
Russians love beautiful cars, they need great avenues to make their drifts
As would say Bruce Willis, cut the blue one, the blue one, not the red...
@elmetro is trying to decrypt the Cyrillic alphabet in a restaurant
What do you think of the result? It came out well you do not find
Let us introduce you the biggest museum of the world: the Hermitage Museum
@siavach is looking for some Steemians, be carful to your ass...
Hummm, where are they?
Can they be?
it was a long day where we took our eyes full. We need some rest but we see you tomorrow for other adventures and why not a Steemian, who knows ...
