Hello again Steemians! This article is centered around our Crypto-Renaissance event which is the first Steem-powered public exhibition in New York. This show will professionally showcase the tools and resources built for creative professionals on the Steem blockchain and specifically how @sndbox members have integrated them into their practice and daily lives. With the deadline fast approaching, we are taking to the blank canvas the walls will provide for us and highlight some of the projects we plan on putting up.
A major part of the exhibition will be to present the diverse materials produced by our members during the incubator. Some of them are extremely unique and were initiated during the program itself. With the main hall showing off the incubator details and the Steem-based applications, the back room will go more in-depth with the main projects that are introduced in the first room.
Today's post will look at a particular project that spanned oceans and broke through language barriers - @kr-marketing!
Illustrating the Basics
@kr-marketing is a Korean community project led by @leesongyi and @leesol in collaboration with the @keepit team. Their team reinvents blockchain news and crypto-information into beautiful and easy to understand illustrations. Afterwards, these graphics are shared throughout social media and off-line as prints. Across all languages, this is a fantastic precedent for Steem-powered collaboration among blockchain developers, experts, traders and artists!
And on The Creative Crypto magazine, we've been publishing translations of this project to help newcomers in the English speaking world get acquainted as well. Here are a few examples -
The Back Room
Here is a mock set-up for their section of the exhibition. It will include the english translations of the flashcards that they have created, and will be nicely organized onto the back room walls.
We'll have all the images chosen for this part of the exhibit online and downloadable as a PDF during the show. Keep an eye out for more updates (as well as an opportunity to brush up on your Korean) at the @kr-marketing account.
