Wow, that title sounded morbid as fuck...
But really, it could be the last days of my life, none of us knows when that day will come, I could die right now and it would be left for @hendrix22 to press post. I should really stop though because talking about death makes others uncomfortable and you know how I just hate to make anyone uncomfortable by saying awkward truths ;)

I left my neighbourhood!
That's a big deal for me. I haven't been getting out into society much lately (and by lately I mean the last 3 years). I've been loving the Hermit life. Protecting my energy feels good after many years of being forced to be around a lot of people through various jobs, and all the running around...society drains me.
Brendan @hendrix22 surprised me early in the day Thursday by coming home and taking me out to lunch. I picked "John's Lunch" as our spot. It's all the way in Dartmouth (which is even further than Halifax) yet the place has won awards for its food. Very inexpensive, totally small and run down looking building, and the best damn seafood you'll ever have.

Kiedis and Stryder in shorts. And mittens. I know, random hey? They were trying to stand up the ol' Christmas Tree in the last remaining pile of snow and that snow was freezing their little hands. Unfortunately the snow wouldn't hold the tree up for them, so they went and got a rain barrel to be the tree's new stand. Good job boys!

It's so great that we live just down the road from each other...ahhh...don't even have to leave the bay. We had taco night and played rummoli afterwards with the kids. Marion's gonna be leaving on a trip soon, sniff sniff, we had to get together before she's gone to Ontario.
