Fin da bambina rimanevo sempre affascinata dalle miniature, e devo dire mi incuriosiscono tanto ancora oggi.
Il Diorama, questo è il termine tecnico, altro non è che la riproduzione in scala ridotta di scenografie, con cui creare ambientazioni di ogni tipo.
Noi in Italia ne abbiamo un meraviglioso esempio con il Parco tematico dell'Italia in Miniatura a Rimini.
Questa mia curiosità sulle miniature, mi ha fatto scoprire un artista giapponese Tatsuya Tanaka, che con oggetti di uso comune crea ambientazioni in miniatura particolari e simpatiche!
Con la sua creatività inventa storie impensabili e dal 2011 porta avanti il suo progetto Miniature Calendar, dove ogni giorno pubblica una nuova sorprendente miniatura!

Even as a child I was always fascinated by miniatures, and I must say I am still intrigued by them today.
The Diorama, this is the technical term, is nothing other than the small-scale reproduction of scenery, with which to create all kinds of settings.
We in Italy have a wonderful example of this with the Italia in Miniatura theme park in Rimini.
This curiosity of mine about miniatures led me to discover a Japanese artist, Tatsuya Tanaka, who uses everyday objects to create peculiar and nice miniature settings!
With his creativity he invents unthinkable stories and since 2011 he has been running his Miniature Calendar* project, where he publishes a new surprising miniature every day!
