Launch Pad Open Source Translation - Proofs of Chinese Traditional Chinese Completed
Yesterday I translated the Launch Pad Open Source Project to Simplified Chinese. Today I decided to translate this project also to Traditional Chinese so that more Chinese people all over the world can use this program.. This is a worthwhile project to go global because it enables people who don't have the time, knowledge or resources to create their own specialized launcher and build their own.

As you can see, it involves some technical terms of installation, updating and maintaining the Game Launcher. Most translated words involve installation, automatic update scanning, local file verification and displaying of a HTML change log. The program requires a working FTP or HTTP server to distribute the files.
Inside my Working Place in the Translation
This is how I contributed to the translation work for this Open Source Project.
I translated the 38 strings of words on the left column and put them all into Traditional Chinese text in the middle column. Each time I put in a translation and saves it, the orange bullet on the left will turn to green.
The next screen shot proofs that I have successfully translated all 38 strings of words.
As you can see from the screen shot there, all the strings of words have become green bullets.
There are no paragraphs to translate in this program, so in that sense it was not that difficult. AS long as you know the technical words in your language, you can then move on from one string to the next confidently.
Proof of my Contribution in the Translation
The following screen shot shows that I have contributed 26 translations to this project.
Some of the already translated strings did not need to change, so I did not change them. But some of the translated words needed new suggestions, so I made new suggestions to them.
Proof from the Dashboard that the Chinese Traditional is 100% Complete
Finally when the whole program is translated, I go to the dashboard to make sure that the blue line goes all the way to the end.
It now shows that the Launch Pad is 100% translated to Chinese Traditional.
