Hmm what a wonderful contest that wants us to talk about our best day during last week. Even my days this week were so joyous and exciting although my phone kept on switching off all the time and I couldn't win one engagement challenge. Special thanks to @steem-cameroon for creating this contest.
Today am here to talk about the 29th of October 2023 which was last week Sunday. On Sunday I went to church and I served the 9am mass as an altar server in the catholic church I attend. Am sure there are catholic churches in Cameroon a well.
The mass was really amazing and holy, I was just happy throughout the mass for no reason. We had children/youth harvest that Sunday so it was a very busy Sunday as alot of activities where carried out in the church that day. Immediately the mass ended finally, most people went home while others stayed back for prayers and meetings.
My association had a meeting that day as we arranged ourselves in the church and began our meeting. The boys that attended the meeting weren't much but I was happy when I realized that 90% of everyone in the meeting paid their respective monthly dues.
Am the president of this altar servers association and I said alot of things in the meeting that day. One hour later I ended the meeting and my executives and I seized three boys footwear because they didn't pay their monthly dues. We were about to go home as we left the church buildings and the boys kept on begging that we should give them their footwears that they will pay the money.
The dues is very small as I don't see any reason why they wouldn't pay it, is just NGN50 which is equivalent to 0.25 steem. I took different pictures as I wasn't the one holding their footwears, but I made the decision. After much pleadings from the boys, we finally gave them their property while someone paid for one of them.
Presiding monthly meetings every 4th Sunday of the month easy an easy job for me and I always get excited each time we successfully end our meeting because our next time for meetings will be after next 3 Sundays. Being a leader isn't easy at all and I always pray to God for wisdom and strength.
I was glad the meeting ended successfully last week Sundays and I managed to cool my members down after receiving alot of complaints from them that day. Thanks for reading.
