Placed third is this story by @calluna - Miss Quadrant-35 Calluna never ceases to amaze me she is one of my favourite writers on steemit. She has a rich scope of imagination and her female characters are vibrant albeit often a bit damaged or twisted - just like momma likes it. I specifically liked the fight sequences and the choice of the last challenge in this story. 💜

The runner up is by @dirge - Caro Goes To Space Oh Dirge, such a sick puppy —LOL and another one of my favourite steemit writers. It is the first two advertisements and the first two challenges I liked best in this story. This one def had a Gaiman/ Addams feel to it. The winning story is is by @oivas- Zeus Games Oivas is new to Electric Dreams. While this story is not 100% perfect, as I feel that some of the visual sequences could have used a bit of polishing, it stole my heart. This story carries a classic sense of whimsy, almost like the traditional stories passed on for generations. I loved the choice of protagonist and the simple solutions to the challenges are, as one commenter rightly pointed out, classic fable material. I loved the last conclusion best. In this is ninth run of the electric dreams contest. There are, as always, 3 prompts #1 your protagonist lives in a world where dogs are the dominant species. Unlike their counterparts in our reality they developed opposable thumbs and thus the same ability to create tools ect. as we did in our reality. How does their reality differ from ours, their cultural norms? This time there are no restrictions on what the story is about but I really want to see your take on an advanced dog society. and would like some detail on that aspect #2 a field full of blue butterflies #3 the story must include the sentence - “I am not eating that!”.
