Yesterday, I and Uche-nna left Abuja for Nasarrawa state to go get our International passport.
Should I say this is a dream or does someone need to wake me up to the reality. Who will ever thought a platform will come up and reward you for your time, Steem is the revelation of good things to come. Unlike the previous centralized sites like blogger where you need to be approved on Google AdSense before you earn and percentage of getting approved for it is very slim. I once ran two blog back then, after several posts and couldn't generate traffic especially from people outside Africa. It was a total partial system cos you will have a situation views your blog from your locality and you are likely to earn nothing but having someone coming to your blog from the States, you can get a dollar for that page view. A decentralized platform like Steem offers so much more, where everyone is treated equally, having no person to ban you for airing your view or speaking about the ill treatment of the government. This are part of the benefit which the Steem blockchain has brought.
@surfyogi once said in a video, Steem is the iPhone of Cryptocurrency. I never really got it back then but now I understand better. On a lower level, the Steem platform is an Eye - Opener for so many people especially those from Nigeria. Like I do say on my previous post, Steem has really changed my life. It opened me to opportunities and fulfilling dreams. It broke the relationship barrier between us and outside Africa and people has gotten to know things for what they are.
Never for once have I thought I would be getting an International passport soonest but this was made possible with the opportunities Steem created through Dimimp. My perception has really changed and seeing a lot of Whites who are really helping Africans to grow and succeed on steemit. It is really applaudable and fully convinced that there are angels among us. A community like Wafrica and Artzone fully sponsored by Surfyogi and having the likes of ausbitbank, donkeypong, ripperone, new hope, good-karma, thejohafiles and others who have really supportive is encouraging to aspire to do more and add more effort on the platform.
Just like lordjames said, either you go hard or you home. Whichever path you decide to take. Steemit will only be difficult for you when you don't explore around the platform or even attend shows on discord to make friends with others. Finally, I have that independency to work from wherever destination it deem fits and that total freedom. After service to my country, I have not thought for once to use my certificate or go look for a job. My job is now officially on steemit and not just that. I earn and learn new things daily. I am in the right place.
