Conclusion
The UI and usability is awesome, great job by Shapeshift!
However, the biggest turn off, and what made me facepalm the hardest:
Creation Fee $16 (!!), Monthly Fee 1%.
Close position $5 +2,3%
It's very, very difficult to make money with this product. You'd be better off just buying your portfolio on an Exchange and put sell orders or stop-loss order up.
Or pay 0 fees and collateralize BitShares Smartcoins
