Today being 10th of January 2018 ,I did my first meet-up for the year, the meet-up took place @ the university of port Harcourt where I met with the 200l students of economics department ,approaching them with the idea of how to raise their school fees from steemit.

school fees has been one of the major concern in the university of port Harcourt, if you can't meet-up the fees you will be forced to repeat that section.

About the meet-up

The turn up was encouraging, we were about 20 in numbers

We started as about 8am before their morning class, I @raymondbruce introduced steemit and told them how to go about their registration.

I defined steemit to them in two words which is "BLOG AND EARN" and they bought into the idea. I was able to assist 4 members in their registration and they are waiting for their accounts to be approved.

I did a short video after the meet-up with a steemian and a newly registered member
