Steemit Presentation after A lab Class in University for Development Studies

Hello steemians,

Today i bring you updates on my promotional campaign. This time around, i had the opportunity to present steemit to a whole class of 120 medical laboratory science students. It took me by surprise how time could really fly when i got locked in talking about how interesting steemit has been to me since i joined. The event took place yesterday after a microbiology lecture. I seized the opportunity to talk to the class about this amazing opportunity. I started off by letting a friend(Amos ) of mine do an introduction. The presentation went on very smoothly with me highlighting on what steemit is, what a cryptocurrency is, what a blockchain is and how to basically write a blog. I used an analogy of a diary to briefly explain what a blog is to the class and many people began to understand. The major question which most of them asked me was how to withdraw from steemit. Hopefully, i will have enough money in my wallet during my next presentation to do instant withdrawal for demonstration purposes.

I tackled the question of withdraw by showing them a withdrawal transaction i have made some time ago and they were all excited about it. The feedback i received was really great and i have been contacted by many to help them sign up. Though i went through the sign up and sign in procedure with the class, those who manage to try and sign up still had issues as they were not familiar with the platform. I was helped by @sirchales @prince-opk who managed to sign up some few students before we left the stage.

I personally think that this form of campaign is better compared to my previous one on one since many people got to hear my not so audible voice and the feedback is better than my initial campaigns. I will be organising such campaigns more often and hopefully, i would get the whole student population of UDS on board before the end of 2018. Here are some of the pictures taken during the section. We had a photoshoot section after the presentation so that everyone who was interesting in writing on steemit could take their first introductory picture.

The whole event was so successful. Personally if all promoters could adopt to having presentations like this or even a school program like what @stellabelle does, it will move up the publicity of this amazing platform. My deepest appreciation to @starkerz who's words rekindled my spirit and indirectly made sure this program to come on. It was actually the rewards from steemit that funded the program and am very much grateful to all who have been giving me their upvotes. Special appreciation to @thejoehalfiles, @gigafart @promo-steem @stephenkendal and all who have supported me one way or the other.

Before i retire, I hope to get the support of all who can read this article and all african curators to curate the quality content these new writers have for us and to support this promo-steem to spread the gospel. Thank you for passing by my article. Hope to catch you here next time with my next activity. Its going to be awesome.
