Putin does not say the whole story, the battle for AI will be waged on many levels, not just with drones... on the ground, smart dust may be released into the air or water supply. Smart dust is the most probable threats of all as it can be programmed for pandemics inoculations in the blink of an eye. In the meantime, more hypocrisy: Musk, Wozniak and Hawking urge ban on warfare AI and more than 1,000 experts and leading robotics researchers sign open letter warning of military artificial intelligence arms.
More than 1,000 experts!! One thing we should ask ourselves is why did they CREATE these arms in the first place? Of course, they could not walk away from their fat paychecks. The vast majority of scientists are incapable of thinking in terms of Humanity. Unless people wake up, there is no way to stop scientism (materialistic/money driven science) .
When money is involved the 'art of killing' also gets a boost. One does not fight evil with evil. This is a Natural Law because one thus becomes as evil as the adversary one claims to fight. 4 millennia of educational lies may catch up with society much faster that one ever could guess. Because Knowledge is exponential, so is the 'art of killing'. And this evidence should teach about self-restrain, which is always validated in any situation. Peace does not depend on "imposing peace by arms" but self-control!

‘A popular article from Extreme Tech describes it in the headline: “Smart dust: A complete computer that’s smaller than a grain of sand.” An article from War is Boring is titled “Future Military Sensors Could Be Tiny Specks of ‘Smart Dust’ New technologies allow for extremely small—and ubiquitous—military sensors.” A paper from University of California, San Diego describes smart dust: “The term “smart dust” originally referred to miniature wireless semiconductor devices made using fabrication techniques derived from the microelectronics industry. These devices incorporate sensing, computing and communications in a centimetre-sized package.” It is promoted as an eventuality, that smart dust will cover streets and buildings to identify people, that people will have smart dust in their bodies, and other things in mainstream television and media.
