I have noticed a lot of confusion by the new people about how their votes count. I did a post last week discussing why it is important (click here). So today I'm going to give a "quick tip" to show you 2 different sites to view your voting power meters.
Steemd.com
This is the site that I personally use the most, I constantly refresh it to get my latest activity (pic below). It shows my power meter and my voting strength (pic above) To access the site go to: https://steemd.com/@yourusername and check it out.
Steemworld.org
This is a site I just discovered, and I think it gives some better information in regards to voting power meter understanding. Highlighted in the pic above is the actual value of your vote based on where your power meter is at any point in time. In my case, I'm almost full so I get almost a full penny on my next vote (see pic above).
Note: the interesting thing this also tells you is your vote value based on where your power meter runs down to. So don't let your power meter get below 80 or you'll have no punch!
Bonus information too! In the pic above you will see 2 very cool other features this site has. First is in the middle you will see the time it will take your voting power to be fully recharged (in my case it is 2hr and 48min). This is very good because you can know how long it will take and plan your activities accordingly.
And second is the simulator feature which you can use to imagine the possibilities. You can click on the "simulate" button and change the amount of STEEM POWER (SP) in your account to see what your voting values would be. (Note: I already did it in the example and changed my SP to "130 simulated" and I see that my voting values will be .03 at 100% at the 130 SP mark). You can play around with it and find out exactly how much voting values you will get based on what level of SP you have (or aspire to have in the future). Very very cool feature.
