There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls.
George Carlin RIP.
Using my original photography, this photo was taken early in the morning at a temple in the beautiful town of Bagan, Myanmar. The Land of the temples with over 2200 temples it is an area to rival the World's finest attractions.
George Carlin is one of my favourite anti establishent figures, and a brilliant mind and stand up comedian.
What does the quote mean?
Carlin is usually less mystical and more direct than this, but in my opinion it shows that however dark things may be (ie wolves howling) we must always pay respect to nature , or the forces of the universe (the moon) who can eclipse our fears and provide it's own primal forces (earthquakes, volcanoes, floods) which can put our petty fears to shame.
Any other interpretations of the quote? Please post below I'd be intererested to know your views.
