Surrender to the Scrub. A recipe for healthy, beautiful, delicious skin!

Using this recipe, my skin has taken on the healthy, moisturized glow that I have been searching for!

:)

Exfoliating, moisturizing, and quality ingredients are key to great skin care. It is good to exfoliate about twice a week, more or less depending on how oily you skin gets. You can also create your own bliss with personalized additions. Most of these ingredients are household staples, and are go-to health essentials. Put your sugar to good use :-)

Everything is better homemade with lots of love! It creates a beautiful satisfaction. It feels good to know what you are putting on your body, and this is totally edible! Great to use in a bath or the shower, treat yourself once a week! And honestly, my skin feels and looks amazing.

This recipe is about 8oz with some room for stirring. You can store in a mason jar, or a plastic container.

Organic ingredients preferred :)

Surrender to the Scrub ❤

  • 1/2 Cup Packed brown sugar/coconut sugar
  • 5-6 Tbsp. Coconut oil, organic-unrefined (this amount depends on harshness of sugar used and personal preference)
  • 3 Tbsp. Raw honey (local!)
  • Sprinkle of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

Bliss addition options: Be Creative!

  • Essential oils
  • Citrus zest
  • Fresh Herbs
  • Coffee Grounds
  • Raw Cacao
  • Spices
  • Vanilla Bean
  • Mint

My personal bliss today was Rosemary (fresh chopped herb and essential oil), and lemon zest. Earthy & fresh, and both great for skin health ❤

Here we go!

  1. Put on some good tunes and smile :-)
  2. Gather all your ingredients and personal bliss. Send them love.
  3. Combine all your ingredients, and personal bliss.

  5. Place into a glass mason jar or plastic container, makes 2-4oz jars.
  6. Surrender into bliss and healthy skin! When using rub into skin until sugar is dissolved and moistness remains in your beautiful skin.
  7. Notes:

    • Lasts about 2 weeks or so depending if you are using it on your face and/or body.
    • Stir occasionally, if coconut oil separates, or water gets in.
    • You can use other oils, but I like the texture and health benefits of coconut oil personally🙂
    • You also can add extra coconut oil if it seems a little harsh and doesn’t spread easily, test by washing your hands with the scrub. You want it to rub in not push off too much. But to each his own🙂 Some like it rough some like it smooth
    • great for bathtime!🙂

    Benefits of ingredients:

Sugar: Creates gentle exfoliation, strengthens pores, tones skin, removes dead skin cells, dirt and oil that clog pores, enhances blood circulation
    ~
Pink Salt: Detoxifies with healing minerals, enhances circulation
    ~
Coconut oil: Moisturizes, antibacterial, cleanser, helps with aging/wrinkles
    ~
Raw Honey: is pure and unpasteurized, the regular stuff in the store is stripped of all the beautiful health properties honey contains. Raw honey hydrates, is very nutrient and mineral dense, antibacterial (great for acne!), great for glowing complexion!
    ~
Herbs/oil: All have their own unique amazing all natural health benefits! Do some research, what do you like/ what works for you. Comforting natural bliss.

I hope you enjoy this scrub as much as I do! I cant wait to try another flavor of bliss for my healthy face and personal satisfaction :)

    Love and light!
