My boyfriend @agentgraham is very good in cooking, he noticed that I have not been eating any vegetables lately so he decided to cook me a vegetable dish. So given it's summertime here in the Philippines he wanted to make a healthy but delicious dish.

Also upon researching I made a summary of it's main benefits like:

So he went to the market and bought the following.

Ingredients:

3 bundles of water spinach
one garlic head-minced
chili oil/ chili sauce (optional)
oyster sauce
soy souce
1 1/2 cup water
2-3 tb spoon brown sugar
minced ginger
cornstarch
salt and pepper

Then let me share to you the procedure so you can make it on your own it's quite easy actually.

Procedure:

SAUCE:

First put water in a pot.

Then turn the hreat on as you add on soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce and ginger.

Simmer for 3 minutes.

Add on the cornstarch (depends on the thickness you want wit the sauce)

Put 3/4 minced garlic bring to boil

KANG KONG:

Stir fry remaining garlic, season with salt and pepper.

Then add on the chili oil, simmer until garlic turns golden brown.

Put on the kang kong.


simmer 2 mins

Pour in sauce, simmer for 2 more minutes.

Serve.

This can be served as it is or with rice, however you prefer to eat it.

It's a delightful and tasty vegetable dish indeed. :)
