This is 3rd day of Rap Week. Time to go way way back in our musical time machine, and revisit days long gone but not forgotten. This song is Fuck tha Police from N.W.A., from the album Straight Outta Compton. This album is a classic, and I remember when it came out... everyone was up in arms ready to break out the torches and pitchforks. All the hype and hysteria, the FBI and Family focus groups, made album sales skyrocket even more. What you are listening to here is part of the reason you see that little black and white sticker on all albums that feature explicit language and themes. This album has a lot great tracks, like Gangsta Gangsta, Express Yourself, Parental Discretion Iz Advised, and the Title Track.
This song, and album is going to be 30 years old very soon, and unfortunately the tone and theme of the lyrics still rings true today, just like it did back then. This song is off the chain, and loaded with "explicit language", and if you are of a gentle nature.. DO NOT HIT PLAY!
This is musical history right here, so give it a spin and Enjoy! ;-)
