My name is Sbear678!
I was first introduced to Steemit by my partner actually. He does a lot of reading online and one of his favorite topics is cryptocurrencies.
He enlightened me on the subject about a year ago and I have enjoyed hearing all the progression thus far. It really is amazing to me. We have even invested some of our income into a few different currencies and really believe in what a decentralized system will do.
Why do I love Steemit?
Well my partner and I have talked at length about leveraging the information we have in our minds and through life experience, to sell online..with the idea of living a life free of the typical 9 to 5 jobs that most of our friends are chained to. Having worked as a chef for almost ten years I definitely have come to realize that working per hour doesn’t make sense, especially once I began to value what I bring to the table.
Knowing what I know and creating valuable content online sounds like a dream to me...and honestly I haven't found a platform to start on that feels right.
That is until I met Steemit!
The moment I logged in I felt like I was surrounded by like-minded people who are passionate about educating and helping one another. I truly feel that Steemit will provide me a place to share what I know and what I am passionate about, as well as encourage me to grow and discover new passions and friends.
My very first post, an Introduction to who I am and my goals, received a response from @maryfavour…who opened my eyes to @redfishpillar. I am already growing and receiving help! I am confident that this community will be epically important to me for years to come!!
