Many Christians believe that Jesus is God and they are so convinced about it but convinced by who? we will find out today. Pardon me, I am inspired by two posts, one of them was by @dan (@dantheman) and second was @gavvet and I hope that they find my post as a response. I am not here to make false claims, nor I want to hurt anyone here. Let me start with an apology in advance that if something from my post hurts you, then please ignore it. Lets do a fair and respectful discussion on this topic.
Personally, I have studied several religions before, including Christianity and Hinduism etc and when I studied those religions, it made me wondered that almost all of them contains the same message which is, Worship God (ALLAH) alone and do not include anyone in His divinity and that is exactly the lesson of The Holy Religion ISLAM which brought me to one point and that is, respect every religion but only one religion can be true. Let me start to share some of my belief on judging religions that:
"You must study the scriptures and their holy books of religion, instead of looking at followers of religion"
Believe me, there are many so-called Christians that are not following Christianity on their own, so if I look at them and judge and say that Christianity is a false religion, then would you believe me? Most likely, you'll say to me that "hey you are insane, why you are looking at followers, look and study the scripture itself". Right?
But unfortunately due to the same mindset, we see today that there are large number of Atheists because their main focus is to look at followers and judge by the cover of religion (Cover of Religion = Followers). In their view, the whole universe exists by chance, probability and yet they are not ready to believe that money can be planted from earth by chance and yet they go for jobs, yeah? But for what? to make money? If you're saying that this universe is a result of chance and there was no God who caused this universe to exist then why you can't believe that money will be planted for you automatically?
Well, I am not really focusing on Atheists. I'd like to stay on topic, and I'd like to move forward with some questions for you, and I hope you'll participate in fair and respectful manners.
Question 1: I love Jesus Christ as a Muslim and all Muslims are obliged to love Jesus Christ if they want to be called Muslims, but the question is, do you love Jesus Christ as a Christian?
You'll most likely answer that "yes, we love Jesus Christ."
Question 2: What should we do with our loved ones? Should we obey them and make them happy? OR should we disobey and disrespect them?
I am sure enough that you'll say: "Loved one should be obeyed and should be respected"
Question 3: Do you believe that Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him) is God?
Looking at the majority in today's world, I am sure that you will say: "Yes, we believe that Jesus is God"
Here comes the special part. You claim to be a Christian and you claim to follow Jesus (PBUH) but you are disrespecting Jesus Christ and and disobeying him, is it that how you treat with your loved ones?
Question 4: Do you believe in Bible? As for me, I respect it and as a Muslim, I am a TRUE CHRISTIAN.
Hmm, your answer might be: "Are you crazy?, if I am christian then why I'd not follow bible?"
And you might question me, how we are disrespecting Jesus, we are giving him more status and it is a sign of our increased love to show love by calling him God?
Would you believe if I quote you a reference from your own holy book of bible that Jesus ordered you to worship only one God? The truth is, you are following the Christianity of church, not Christianity of bible. Your bible contains a lot of great things and we (as Muslims) believe that Bible is the book of God too which was revealed on Jesus Christ and that's the reason why we respect them. Lets analyze some of the verses of Bible in which Jesus ordered you to worship only One God which automatically proves that if there is one God and Jesus ordered it, then Jesus CANNOT be GOD:
It is mentioned in Gospel of Mark Chapter 12 Verse 29:
"'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one."
If you have even little senses then you'll understand what I am saying. It contains the word "Our" and then further it mentions "The Lord is one" which make it clear that you are disobeying Jesus Christ and disrespecting him by calling him God.
It is mentioned in Luke Chapter 18 Verse 19:
"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone.
Another reference from Bible which makes it absolutely clear that there is only One God. Are you still denying the fact that there is only One God?
Question 5: Why our Christian brothers hate Muslims when Islam is the ONLY religion which brings honor and respect to Jesus Christ and order Muslims to believe in MIRACLES of Jesus and everything which He blessed to Jesus?
Well, it might be new for you if I say that Islam orders us to love Jesus PBUH because he was one of the greatest messengers of God. Lets look on some of Quranic verses and look at their beauty:
It is mentioned in Surah Al Imran Verse 45 to 47:
"(Remember) when the angels said, “O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him (God), whose name is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, revered in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (to God). He will speak to the people from his cradle and as a man, and he is of the righteous.” She said, “My Lord, how can I have a child when no mortal has touched me?” He said, “So (it will be). God creates what He wills. If He decrees a thing, He says to it only, ‘Be!’ and it is.”
Look how much respect Quran gives to Jesus that it talks from the very beginning when Jesus didn't even exist. It explains beautifully that why Jesus didn't had father which was "God creates what He wills, if He decrees a thing, He says to it only, BE!" and it is"
Next big thing for you is, Quran orders us to affirm all the miracles given to Jesus Christ including the miracle of "Power over death". It is mentioned in Surah Al Imran Verse 49:
“I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I make for you the shape of a bird out of clay, I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God’s permission. I heal the blind from birth and the leper. And I bring the dead to life by God’s permission. And I tell you what you eat and what you store in your houses....”
Where ALLAH orders Muslims to believe in Jesus? Well, it is ordered in several places but I remember only one at this time. It is mentioned in Surah Baqarah Verse 285:
"The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination.""
Question 6: Do Christians really follow Christianity as is mentioned in Bible? How Muslims are TRUE CHRISTIANS than Christians themselves?
Bible prohibits Wine. It is mentioned in Book of Ephesians Chapter 5 Verse 18:
"Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,"
Bible prohibits Pork. It is mentioned in Leviticus Chapter 11 Verse 7
"And the pig, though it has a divided hoof, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you."
Yet we see that majority of Christians serve pork, eat pork and it is their favorite food while majority of Muslims do not have Pork which means, Muslims are following Bible more than Christian.
Majority of Christians drink wine and serve wine but majority of Muslims don't. Still convinced to call yourself a christian?
Definition Of True God - The Master Piece To Judge Religion When Studying Them:
It is mentioned in Surah Ikhlas Complete Chapter:
"Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One. Allah , the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born. Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
I have this masterpiece to judge any religion. If anyone claims to be the God, I'll put him to above test and if he passes that test, I'll be ready to call him God.
This post is getting longer and there are a lot of things which I wanted to write but I am not writing here because it is getting longer and longer. I hope that you benefits from my post and I highly hope and believe that it will increase your knowledge.
