Today I would like to look at 1 Thessalonians 4 verse 4 to 8
4)Each of you men should know how to live with his wife in a holy and honorable way,
5)not with a lustful desire, like the heathen who do not know God.
6)In this matter, then, no man should do wrong to his fellow-Christian or take advantage of him. We have told you this before, and we strongly warned you that the Lord will punish those who do that.
7)God did not call us to live in immorality, but in holiness.
8)So then, whoever rejects this teaching is not rejecting a human being, but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.
The sexual values and morality these days are not desirable. Our human nature causes us to easily slip back to immorality, which leads to sexual sins. We must not have sexual relation ships outside of marriage. One way to prevent sexual sin is to a live holy and honorable life with your spouse. You can do this by respecting your spouse and to put his/hers needs before your own. You must not allow yourself to be driven by lust. We must also not become involved in relationships where we deceive other people. When a sexual component enters a relationship with somebody that is not your spouse, you must end the relationship, to prevent yourself from doing wrong. This is not advice from a human, but a command from God.
