Hi everyone again. Aside from Korean movie series I am also an avid fan of Japanese movies. One of the movies I've watched recently was came from a known Japanese manga. Helter Skelter, A Japanese manga that was published around 1995-1996 and 2003 and a movie film also created on 2012. Helter Skelter movie was performed by Japanese actress Erika Sawajiri.

The movie actually needs a strong parental guidance because it contains explicit and nudity. Though the movie is not for everyone, it still gives good moral lesson and value. It reflects one of the most important and sensitive issues that we are currently facing in this society. The struggle of making or doing anything just to be accepted. The struggle to become perfect. To become popular, to show to them and on social media that oneself is almost getting the perfect life here on earth.
The movie scene started with Erika as Lilico who is very popular super model but a product of full body and cosmetic surgeries. She is so beautiful, has amazing looks and sexy body. She seems she has it all. She is the most followed personality on TV, fashion icon. She has lots of endorsements, TV dramas and movies. Lots of teenage girls wanted to become like her. She's everybody's dream girl.
Lilico continues to become more famous but at the same time, she's seducing managers and directors in order for her to gain more TV projects. Along with her popularity, her body also starts to become weak. She's getting the side effects from her multiple surgeries. But with the help of her Manager, Hiroko Tada, whom she also calls Mom, she was able to regain extra strength and a temporary medicine to cover her flaws. Desperate Lilico and her manager went to their trusted underground medical clinic. An organization that illegally operates and provides unsafe medical practice. They also illegally buy human organs, bones to transplants and mix on their cosmetics products.
Then Lilico met her sister, Chikaru. The two talked about their lives and how they live on it. Lilico tried to convince Chikaru to undergo surgery but she refused to do it.
A group of investigators are assigned to investigate multiple controversial suicides that has something to do with surgical malpractice and medical failures. They also believe that Lilico was a complete product of this underground medical industry. So they decided to meet Lilico. Through Lilico's sister, one of them hand off an old picture of Lilico. They warned her that she could be harmed with what she's doing to her body. Lilico can't hide all her flaws for life.
Finally, Lilico met Kozue, a product of natural beauty. A very friendly and down to earth person. She right away placed on limelight because of her attitude. Beautiful person inside and outside, on and off cam.
Lilico's excessive pride, selfishness and too much self-admiration leads her to become more greedy and evil. She plans to destroy Kouze's face. She asked her assistant, Hada and Hada's boyfriend to throw an acid to Kouze's face but they failed to do it.
After Hada loss her job and realized that she's already useless to Lilico and to Tada's modeling agency, she reveals all Lilico's dirty and evil secrets and the fact that Tada's modeling agency is involved in underground medical surgery.
Lilico's career suddenly dropped. Hada's revelations ruin Lilico's life and career. She was bashed due to her fake images and body. Fake beauty and popularity are not permanent. Due to some hallucinations, Lilico attempted to end her life during an interview.
Years passed, Kozue is now the most followed TV personality, on-demand model in different magazines and the newest fashion icon but the clinic is still under investigation. Lilico with her make-up artist are now working on an entertainment club. And that's the end of the movie.
