Here is our runforsteem entry for this week. 10k in the wonderful Vulkan-Eifel landscape.
It was not an ordinary run. If you like to know more, read on.
We are members of the "Laufgemeinschaft Laacher See", a running community in the region around the lake "Laacher See", an extinct volcano.
Every first of May we organize a running event called "Lohner's Vulkan Marathon". We offer running and walking race courses from 1k up to marathon. It is an event for the whole family.
The community members are not allowed to participate because we need every hand to handle the event. But we all are passionate runners and love the race courses in the wonderful volcanic landscape.
Therefore we organize a pre-run for all members. And this is our runforsteem this week.
Just before the start of the pre-run / race. The weather was really good an we had a lot of fun.
