Running for Neo #2 (Total 25 KM, 200 days until the Marathon of Berlin)

General introduction
In 200 days I will be running the Marathon of Berlin on the 19th of September. Today I have started my official preparations. As an experiment I will be using a variant on dollar cost averaging, at which I will invest 1 dollar for each kilometer that I run in preparation of the marathon in both NEO and GAS. This will therefore be both a blog of both my runs as well as an exercise to see what kind of investment performance can be achieved by dollar cost averaging Neo.

Thao Dien district 2 run HCMC
I thought instead of making it a weekly post why not just post every run separately. This morning I ran around 8 kilometers just before work as a shakeout run for yesterday's long run.

See below route. With wide roads, cool riverside breezes and plenty of distractions to keep your mind busy, the Thao Dien loop beats a treadmill any day. Aside from the bustling business hubs at either end of Xuan Thuy, the entire route can be relatively calm and quiet if you hit it at the right time of day – just avoid the school-run rush hours. If you’re still building up to a 5k, use the buildings, trees and shops as waypoints and aim to get a little further each time you’re out. It’s enough to get used to being on your feet even if you’re not running the whole way.

With today's price of 121.15 for Neo and 37.42 for GAS that's means I can by an additional 0.07 and 0.22 GAS respectively. My average investment price is now. My weighted average price is now $117.59 for NEO and $36.04 for GAS.
